The people who make it their whole life or make people feel pressured should not be doing it. And it's definitely not just about selling to people. You don't even have to sell a thing, you can use Amway for your own personal use to buy your groceries, cosmetics etc discounted and at the end of the month you get money back into your account.
Like I said I did Network 21 and Amway was just a small part in it which comes into the whole scheme later. I didn't say that people didn't start businesses, I said you don't JUST start one, because you don't. There's a process and you don't even have to do it.

My grandmother made a moza, and I used to love listening to the motivational tapes, but some people involved are a bit creepy, I'd never join

From what I've heard and read, it's those ^ sort of people who amway love recruiting. Because it keeps the whole thing afloat.

As for it not being about selling to people...the whole concept is about selling. It's a 'direct selling' company. That's why there have been so many Amway court cases over the years, due to misrepresentation and the like (I.e.: people saying you make 150 grand a year, whereas the average distributor makes less than $100 a month!).

It sounds as though what you did (through network 21) is different to the whole Amway scheme, from what I've read.

Network 21 was what I joined, i reckon its still amway just with the groceries and a couple of other brands. In their sell amway isn't mentioned, they just list brands excluding amway brand. Sneaky sneaky. I saw artistry and said oh so it is amway.

All the emails and correspondce is branded amway.

When I say 'different' to the whole Amway scheme, I don't mean they aren't linked. I've read that network 21 is like a support system for the people who have started their amway business?

Yeh possibly? I dunno, to me they just rebranded and diversified their product range while retaining a small range of Amway branded products. Amway is a confusing brand - most ppl hear Amway and flee. But at the same time most ppl acknowledge the Amway produts are quite good. And the business itself has been long established.

How do you relaunch a brand in trouble and retain its key good components (high quality and longivity). Create a 'Network 21 buying system' selling various brands and products and make one of those products Amway.

The attempted sell on me was on all the 'non-amway products' - everyday things that everyone needs you can buy from network 21 and earn $$ or you can buy from cole kind of thing. On a whole I guess that is true - but for me I don't support Coles, so I would support this US owned, international company even less.
