Default Your children at your wedding, a question..

Did you choose to have or not to have your children at your own wedding? Can you tell me why or why not?

DD was our flower girl (she was 15months old.
We chose to have her at our wedding as she is our family - so why wouldn't you?! She deserved to be a part of the day as much as myself and DH.

we got married sept 10, DD1 was 3yrs old.
she and my 2 nieces were only children invited to wedding.
DD1 was flowergirl. my mum took her home for a nap between ceremony and reception whilst we did photo shoot and she was rested and ready to party at the reception.
she loved it and we loved having her share it with us.
she asked to go home at 10pm as she was tired so my brother and SIL took her and their kids all home.

    it worked out perfectly

Yes, I never even consider not having them. All the best weddings I been to have had lots of kids.

Edited to say I had none of my own but plenty of family and friends kids were there.

    Nup I didn't, DD wasn't born.

I went to a wedding with kids before mine and it was a zoo. The 8 year old girl was getting up and making terrible speeches and the kids were being annoying on the dance floor.

Terrible wedding with horrible behaved children. Turned me off.

No issues having children that are well behaved and kept under control.

I'd find it really strange if the couples kids were excluded.
