got to love NYE good for one thing making people feel like crap

its just another night we will all get up in the morning (well maybe a few will not the idiots with self-inflicted stupidity) and life will continue on
stop focusing on what you did not do and just get on with the doing you will feel a lot better

The sad thing is I wouldn't know how to even explain my life, my situation or my past. It's just embarrassing. You look at life and think I want this and this and this. Then you turn around 5 years later and go wtf happened. But that's what happens when you make stupid choices.

Preaching to the choir my friend

Best thing you can do is laugh it off and say well that wasn't supposed to happen! But that's life you know. We women put sooo much pressure on ourselves to be this perfect version of ourselves or judge ourselves too harshly for making choices that don't turn out to be so great in hindsight.
You're human though and i am sure there is something you learned from whatever didn't pan out.

All any of us can do is our best at the time. I am sure you didn't plan for things to turn out whatever way you're not happy with- no one does.

I think you should cut yourself some slack. Nothing is static and you're not helpless, things can and will change for the better

Omg laurea I think I'm in love with you

Seriously though - wise words right here Janesmum.

I hope you're ok, and I wish there was something I could say to make you feel better. Just know you're not alone, and we are here for venting if you need to.

Aw Sorry to hear you had a crap year. I feel the same today. Glad I'm not alone. Just burst out crying today at breakfast in front of a whole lot of extended family.

Have you made any (achievable) new years resolutions? Maybe looking forward to something in 2012 will help you feel better?
