Default Feeling depressed all of a sudden...

It NYE. Just a few more hours of 2011 left.
I feel like this year was an absolute disaster, I achieved nothing.
I really want 2012 to be a good year, really really want to make some changes.

Just feeling down all of a sudden.

I feel old really old. Kinda feeling like life has passed me by and I have no idea where the last 5 years have gone. It's almost all a blur.

Stupid end of year blues I suppose...

Must start drinking alcohol that shall make it all better... Lol

I know exactly how you feel. No advice, just wanted you to know that you aren't alone

alcohol is a depressant .. so if you're already down .. be careful with it ..

it is hard at this time of year .. 2011 was a pretty crap year for lots of people, for lots of reasons (floods, earthquakes, cyclones - and that doesn't include family / relationship crap etc) ..

is there anyone you can catch up with for a new years eve chat??? otherwise - chat away on here quite a few bubhubbers just having NYE at home tonight I think

I always find new years a stressful time, I am a worrier in general and always over anaylsis things. NYs by default always makes me uncomfortable ebcause I question all the things I have and haven't done.

I just remind myself its just another day, each and every day is an opportunity to do what we think is best. There is nothing actually magical about today/tomorrow that is any different to any other day.

I do use it as a time to refocus, but I now refuse to use it as a time to put myself down.

Awww sorry to hear it OP I guess you just have to decide to focus on some positive things to look forward to. And if it's been a disasterous year then the only way is up from here right?

Don't worry i feel old sometimes too depending on the day

Thanks guys nice to know there are caring people out there.

My drinking will go as far as a glass of wine and one scotch and coke.

Don't really want to call anyone on NYE and depress them. I will be ok. Guess things just hit you around this time of the year.

I'm going to do everything I can to make 2012 an awesome year.
