starflame, I'm sorry AF still isn't here for you.
Are you charting? Do you know when you ovulated? I was reading about delayed periods and thought of you. I read that stress won't delay a period but it will delay ovulation. If you didn't ovulate and are stressed it might be ovulation that you are delaying and not period type feeling. I hope that makes sense and I hope I have no offended you.

It could be stress? I stopped getting my AF for a couple cycles a few years back because I loss my appetite through stress.

dont worry you didnt offend me! I was doing OPKs and I thought I got a positive on CD20 but then a couple days later I got the same looking OPK 3 days in a row. I ran out of OPKs after that so I could have ovulated later but if I did and I was UTD it should be showing by now regardless.

I dont think its stress. I dont really have anything to be stressing about lately so Im pretty confident its not stress. I think its more likely that I just havent ovulated. I even considered the possibilty that maybe because I want to be pregnant that Im having a hysterical pregnancy. Thats possible right? I dunno. I know that I will be getting checked out at the docs regardless of whether AF shows up or not before then so hopefully they will be able to give me some inclination into whats going on. I was thinking maybe Ive developed PCOS or something like that makes sense.

great idea to get a referral to get things checked out now. i saw a fertility specialist after 8 months of trying and he said he was glad i came now, as so many people just need some tests done and to get some things sorted out and he believe the stress of trying for a year just coz you're under 35 doesnt help anyone get pregnant. he thinks after 6 months people should get checked out. i would ask your doc to get a scan done to look for PCOS as perhaps you arent ovulating, and perhaps might just need some clomid to send you in the right direction. def do something about it now, as it's great you have age on your side, so you want it sorted soon.

Your doctor sounds awesome! I dont get the whole 'try for 12 months then see a doctor' nonsense. TTC is hard enough as it is. Ive been checked for PCOS before and it came back all clear but I think another check wont hurt. I said to DP when we started that if we hadnt conceived by 6 months I wanted to see a doctor..Im onto 7 months now but 6 and 7 months came by while Ive been on this cycle...so I def think Ill be pushing for tests.

I think if I tell the doctor about my previous PCOS check and about how long my cycles have been since on the pill and now about my almost 2 months without AF that that should be enough for some investigating to be done in my opinion!! Im so glad we started TTC when we did if there turns out to be complications.

Maybe it is either implantation bleeding or breakthrough bleeding... I had some spotting on the day my period was due in my last preg.

Don't know you at all, but have been watching to see how you (and Tormy)went, thought for some reason you would both get a BFP this month... pls don't think I'm crazy, but it was just a feeling I had. Will still be crossing everything for you both.
Tormy - I'm impressed with your waiting skills!! I'm normally good, but I gave in and tested a day early!! Mumma Nurse knows all about it lol.
