Hi ladies can I join in? I'm CD 7 and think AF will be due on 6th Feb, so I'll text then. I'm usually a serial tester leading up to AF, but with hubby away for work until 5th Feb, maybe I can hold out this time.
Anyway, we're hoping to conceive baby # 2, a sibling for 13month old DS. It will be our 3rd month trying.

    Good luck ladies!!

Oh god! Don't I remember FIFO days! mind you I had 3 kids on my own and one of them a newborn baby! But his was not FIFO on contract either he was on a 4 on 4 off roster so it made it impossible to see him especially we had to pay for flights and they're bloody expensive from a mining community!!! We only seen him once every 3 months, we were TTC while he was working away was nearly impossible! Got lucky the first time he was home for longer than 4 days, then miscarried at about 8ish weeks. I hope you have Heaps of chances to DTD around o/v while he's home! good luck!

No more FIFO for us, he can get it on contract now if he wants but hes starting a supervisors role soon and they want him residential based so we've all moved rural and remote to be with him the kids are happier to have their dad around and I'm happier too, win win really. Not much here but the $$$ is good, and DD goes to a lovely little private school, was well worth it moving! Gonna be plan ing some awesome holidays soon to get out of here for a while every now and then. he is still on a 4 on 4 off roster too but he works alot of overtime ATM, but when he doesn't it is awesome to have him home 4 days at a time to come to school events etc, and he's always close by and home every night we all love it.

    Hi guys

Thought I would just pop in and say that tomorrow we are heading to Sydney to have DH's VR.

I am CD9 today and have a long cycle (31days) so unless DH is reading for action in 7 days looks like our first cycle of TTC will be in Feb.

Im so excited but also really really scared that the reversal wont be a success.

    Anyway, ok, thats me today

Hey All - I'm rolling into the Feb thread now since my O won't be rolling around till Jan 30th. Its my first time TTC and I'm 25.

My DH is thinking of getting a FIFO job out West so I don't have to work leading up to bub No. 1. Its going to be so tough - he'll be 16 on, 6 off. Brutal!

    Wishing BFP's for all!

    Hi ladies

I only just saw this thread after starting another Feb trying/testing thread
Oh well, more people to chat with!
This is our first month trying, we have 3 boys, and had an ectopic Sept last year. Hoping we get first month lucky, as I did with the other pregnancies, but not counting on it, have heard it can be harder after an ectopic.
Am going to try and hold out and test Valentines Day, but will be able to test from the the 1st of Feb.
and to everyone hoping for a BFP

I'm officially out of the Jan race this morning but looking forward to fertile Feb - feeling excited and positive.

If my cycle goes back to normal (was all over the place this month...late ovulation, brown discharge for days, finally a late period) well be trying around the 1st Feb and testing from the 11th. I'll be using OPKs. Just figures that Ive been like clockwork forever and the month we decide to start TTC I'm all over the place!

Lots of luck to everyone xx

What a great idea! I should be on track to be testing on Valentines day too! Wouldn't a BFP be just the perfect Valentines Gift for DH!?
Two days and my AF will be done and dusted, 10 days and I'll be starting OPK's (first response) - but planning on BD'ing every second day just for good measure.
