    Default Your BEST advice?

So after feeling like I had no idea with DS#1 (no, actually I had no idea..) and coming to the conclusion that people who write books generally have no clue about what they're writing about, I want you to tell me your favourite piece of advice you received, or the best advice you would give to someone else.

It can be on ANYTHING - sleeping, settling, breastfeeding, formula feeding, anything. I just want to know what you have to say

One of the best I have received is to make the cot up twice (ie protector then fitted sheet then protector then fitted sheet). I love the fact you don't have to fuss around in the middle of the night changing the sheets. I now tell this to all new mums I meet!!

    ^ this, absolutely.

And, your baby knows just how much breastmilk they need and how often they need it (do not listen to those that say feed to a schedule unless you want no milk supply left!)

If you try the advice people give you and it doesnt work dont worry - every baby is different.

If you have to formula feed you child make the bottle up before you have to get up in the middle of the night.
