Default Holiday suggestions on the north coast NSW plaese

Since DH, our friends and I were old enough to drive we all got in a car each Feb and went to Forster. I love Forster since I know my way around it now and am happy to go off by myself and let DH go fishing etc. I also like that it is not to busy as I have driving in busy places. We haven't been on a holiday in 2 years and I really really want to go on a holiday. DH doesn't want to go back to Forster this year and wants to go somewhere different.

Any suggestions. I was looking at The Entrance and thought it was close enough that we could take the boys to the reptile park in Gosford but I am worried it is to busy for me. Being a true country girl I have never driven in the city and it freaks me out a bit. DH will drive most of the time bu there is always time I have to drive.

Yes I realised that just after I posted this, but it is still not to far for us to travel and I suppose thats the main thing. From research over the net I think it is actually closer to us then Forster is which is always better but it is also getting busier which is the problem.
