Default Unsettled 6week old during the day

Hi Im new to bubhub !!
I have a almost 6 week old and she is a great sleeper during the night but come day time she is unsettled almost all day, its hard at the moment dealing with my almost 3year old when she will not settle and just wants to be held all day so its very frustrating. Does anyone else have or had this problem?? And did anything help??

Im not sure, she doesn't show any signs of it being wind and she burps quite well after feeds but it still could be, it wouldn't hurt to try it anyway?
I will try anything right now, its sending me slightly insane

    Firstly, welcome to BH !!

sorry I don't actually have any useful advice, only wanted to say my DS was the same at that age. I'm pretty sure it was a wonder week/growth spurt which was over within a week or so.

I too didn't have an issue overnight, so I kept telling myself that was better than having a bubs unsettled ALL day and night like some other mums on here do.

I let him sleep on me for a few catnaps during the day, just so that he wouldn't get sleep deprived

    Thank you
Fingers crossed its a growth spurt then she was like this around 2weeks old as well. Shes much different to my first and im still trying to adjust to it all again. She seems very sooky and just wants to be cuddled all the time! And i feel like my nearly 3 year old isn't getting much attention and shes starting to play up. True what you say though, much better that its not day and night

Sounds like my DD 2 weeks ago! If she wasn't feeding she had to be held, even a carrier wouldn't work. It was a growth spurt/wonder week episode where she wanted food and/or contact. It does pass and she is much more a little person than just a baby. The end is in sight for this growth spurt. Next one is 12 weeks.
