I have been in pain for years now and often have a constant tiredness and lack of energy (which i put down to having kids who don't sleep but now that they do i am still exhausted all the time). The pain ranges from a dull ache to severe and is mostly in my abdomen, back and neck but i get it everywhere. I get dizziness and headaches too. No doctor can tell what is wrong with me - i've had x-rays, ultrasounds, endless blood tests and everything always comes back clear. It's at the point now where i feel i am literally going crazy because all i get from doctors is a 'i can't find anything wrong with you, maybe it's all in your head'. I keep thinking 'what if it is all in my head, am i just going mad?'.

MothersMilk, if you watch my 2nd video you'll see that you're going through what I did.

Do not give up looking for answers. It took me 6 different doctors before I was referred to a specialist, it was only then I was diagnosed. This is not in your head.

Wondering how others go with working? I am thinking of going back to work part-time in 2013 but not sure how much pain it will cause? Hoping to get something where I only do about 4 hours at a time...

What exactly qualifies ad chronic pain?

I had to have back surgery for a bulging disc squashing my sciatic nerve which still causes me pain and I also suffer arthritis in my lower back which has me almost unable to move most mornings and flares up several times over the course of the day.

Myztik the definition would vary depending on who you ask but i think generally it is regular pain for longer than 3 months or pain that persists longer than the what the normal duration of healing would be - so i would say that you would qualify.

Myztik Wow. That definitely qualifies .

Christmas has triggered a flare for me at the moment. Have been feeling off for a few days but today has been horrible. I'm hoping a lot of rest, water, pain relief and vitamins will help. I honestly think all the chaos of the last few months (bub starting daycare, the whole ovarian nightmare, Christmas + minimal exercise and crap food) has caused this.

    Pinkzy was your scan ok?

I am beyond exhausted too, just a lot of big days, full on with kids and christmas and back to work and now my cyst issues too have just left me out of sorts.

It was I am so sorry, I thought I pm'd you about it last month.

Turned out to be a complex ovarian cyst filled with some sort of oil (sebaceous or something??). Was very relieved to hear that after 6 weeks of worry.

I'm so glad it was ok

Ok I'm really not trying to copy your life but I have a 2cm complex cyst in my right ovary too. Did you have to have it out? I can't get in to my Gyno till the 18th so have no idea what it's all about. All I've been told is if I start vomiting or the pain gets worse go to the ER
