    I babysit a boy Chayce so to me
    I associate it with male however that's not to say I wouldn't like the name if I knew a little girl with it

    I honestly don't like the name. I also think it's a boys name. My brother named his male cat Chase so I guess that's why.

    I think Chase is a perfectly fine name for a girl (know of two girls with the name 'Chase'), but agree with quote above that you should give her a traditional female middle name, so that when she comes to age she has the choice. My aunt was in this situation when she was growing up, and chose to use her middle name that was more of a female name.
