Default What to pack for hospital

I have been given a list, but quite honestly it has so much on it I'm overwhelmed. I just want to see what other mummy's think.

So far for baby I have 3 singlets, 3 jumpsuits, 3 grow suits, 3 pairs of socks, 3 bunny rugs, 4 bottles, formula, 6 nappies and a packet of wipes.
I was told to take 6 of each.... of singlets and jumpsuits ect, but I already have almost filled two bags, any adivce? or a link to a previous thread would be much appreciated!

Is the list from your hospital? I'd check with them what you need for baby as mine provided all nappies, wipes, clothes, wraps and rugs except for something to go home in.

As for you, comfy clothing, granny undies, lip balm, pads, iPod/music, camera.....can't remember what else I took. Just know I didnt need half of it!!

Check with your hospital but most supply wipes and nappies so you might not need them. Hosp supply bunny rugs so just take one to come home with. I'd take 6 all in onsies as babies can't regulate temp n if a summer bub then just one lil jumpsuit to come home in..
If you are planning to FF then take ur bottles n formula but I wouldn't take it if u plan to BF as the hosp will supply bottles n formula if BF doesn't work..

I'd take all of what you've got so far just in case. The midwife running our birthing class told us to only bring in the outfit we were going to take our baby home in. After giving birth the midwives on the ward kept asking me why I hadn't brought in bunny rugs, wipes and changes of outfits because we were supposed to supply our own. However, one midwife said I didn't need the wipes because they preferred we use the cloths they supply with a little water. Many times I wished the midwives would talk to one another so they could all agree on what they were saying! In the end I asked my partner to go home and bring in practically everything so that we had all of our bases covered.

Its a list I got from the parenting classes, which was at the hospital. But I have been told they don't supply nappies ect. I'll keep all I have so far then. Whats the difference between a grow suit and a jumpsuit?, so confusing! I have long sleeved and short sleeved to take both.
