I'm eating a lot better and drinking lots of water. I'm going for my third run using my app tomorrow. I have lost 600g apparently so far. I feel much healthier myself which is good

Well so far so good. Im generally eating better and keeping an eye on my portion sizes. I actually can't believe my will power to stay away from some of my vices like coke and chocolate. Work has been hard as there's always snacks and food being brought in for morning teas, etc. I think today has been my worst day so far as I had a family bday gathering to go to after work so I ate a bit much, plus staying off the exercise today as my dodgy knee has flared after a slightly to ambitious zumba session last night! Get back to that tomorrow.

good luck nemmy i find myself far too uncoordinated for zumba

AFM i havent done a 'proper' work out in a few days, but i spent all day at the pools/waterpark near my house yesterday with my 2 nephews (one is 6 and the other is 2) so running around after them was plenty enough exercise for me!

Hi everyone! Hope you're all doing well.

Day 6 today for me. AF has made me feel bloated and sluggish, urgh!
But still have been exercising everyday and trying to keep my calorie intake down.

I definitely fell off the band wagon for the Christmas thread, I only managed to lose 3kg instead of the 10 I was aiming to lose. Despite going to the gym three days per week and running 5km, the weight wasn't coming of, so I got disheartened and quit. Also the personal sh!t happening in my life wasn't helping.
This year I have jumped Back on the wagon. My personal life is a lot more sorted, and im not going to the gym again. Instead I'm cycling everyday and when I start work next week I will be cycling to and from work. I also bought a chariot so I can tow DD behind the bike. I bought a top of the range one, so I will pretty much have to use it every day to get my money's worth.

Already this year I have lost 1kg!!!
Start weight 81.5kg. Current weight: 78.1kg, 13kg to go to pre-baby weight!

Well it's a loss right? Not going to be to hard on myself, I have been sick the last week, so I haven't been to the gym and my eating habits could have been better..much better. Anyway, it'sa new week, So I am aiming for a 1kg+ loss this week, I know I can do it. Went to the gym this morning and did combat, it's a new release, fairly hard actually, but feel great and glad I went, still feeling a bit chesty, hopefully that goes away soon. Tomorrow I'll be doing x2 workouts, my boys ar ein daycare, so going in the morning to do cycle and then again in the afternoon for a run and weights. Good luck to everyone weighing in, have a good week!

Back away from the M&M's slowly.....oh just looked at the time and I am probably too late for that comment. This is just a slight hiccup and as it is the start of a new week you can set yourself a new goal for this week to get back on track.

My goal for this week is to increase my incidental exercise throughout the day and to get my treadmill moved inside under the air conditioner so that I have no excuse not to use it.

haha yeah too late it's alright it's all self inflicted and it's the beginning of a new week so i have plenty of time to right myself again!!
moving the treadmill into an air conditioned room is definitely a smart move! very high temps forcast for my area this week so exercise is going to be a struggle, unless i move my treadmill into my bedroom (only room with air con)

Ok feeling pretty good today and have some great news. Weighed myself this afternoon and I'm down to 74.5kg. Yay! So that's 1.5kg in a week. Just hope I can keep it up. I always start out well then tend to even out. Hope everyone else is traveling well. I have definitely been having to fight my mental demons the last couple of days to stop myself from snacking. Man I'd really LOVE some M&Ms right now mrstuilawa!!
