    Default Pregnant or dreaming??

    Hello all,

My husband and I lost our bubby at 9 weeks 3 months ago, and have this month decided to start trying again. I took an ovulation test until I got a positive result and we TTC during the following 48 hours. In the week since, I have had a little cramping and spotting (barely anything. More of a light brown discharge). For the last two days I have been really tired, dizzy and nauseous. Is it too soon for these to be symptoms that we may have been successful. And how soon will a test be accurate? I know I am probably just wishful thinking, but the last pregnancy was unplanned and we do not know the reason for m/c, so I want to be prepared this time. But my period is not due for another week and a half and I don't know if I can wait that long....

I'm so so sorry for your loss.

It all sounds really positive, it's so funny to remember back to symptom spotting! I got my BFP at what I thought was 8dpo but when we had our dating scan bubs was a little smaller - just by 3 days I think - so I think my BFP came pretty early. Hold out as long as you can to avoid the disappointment of a BFN would be my advice!! And GOOD LUCK!!!

Thanks so much Bec. Its hard not to get hopeful and excited, but I know it can sometime take a while to be successful. I just want to make sure I am doing everything possible to ensure the health of my baby (should there be one.) any advice??

Get into the habit of eating well ASAP!! It's really easy to eat badly, especially if you've got morning sickness, but the more nutritious foods you get in the better for your little one!!

I had an early m/c 2 months before falling pregnant & am 17 weeks today. I think it's common to fall pregnant not far after an m/c if you are still trying - a lot hold off for various reasons, but since our m/c was at 4.5 weeks we didn't.

Pop back & update when you can!!! xx

So sorry for you loss xxoo

I got my BFP exactly 1 week after we conceived. In that week, I felt nauseous, extremely tired, sore boobs... We realised it all started exactly at conception! It is possible to have symptoms this early, and it does sound promising. Good luck!

Thanks Lil Miss. I'm so grateful for this forum.
I do want to ask tho, I thought you couldn't take an EPT until the day before your period I due?
Can I take one and expect an accurate result sooner??

The closure you are to AF (or if AF is late) the more chance you will get an accurate result. You can do them early, but there is a higher chance of getting a false negative. Also it depends on the sensitivity of them. The more sensitive they are, the better the chance of an early result (still not guaranteed though).

    Sorry for your loss

Unfortunately it is hard to tell by those symptoms alone as they are common symptoms for a lot of things. You could try a HPT to see if you get a faint positiveas some like FR you can get a +ve as early as 6 days before your missed AF.

    Good luck

    Hi ladies,

So I woke up this morning trying not to get my hopes up. I am still waiting on my period arrive (I usually wake up and it has started) but I took a test and it came back negative. So I'm assuming my period will be along soon. Guess we will jut keep on trying.

    Thanks again for everything.
