    Default Buying wedding dresses online

Has anyone bought a wedding dress online? What was your experience like?

    Any website recommendations?

A good friend bought one online from China.

It arrived not looking like the pic and she had to send it back at her own cost and they replaced it.

Both dresses fitted perfectly and at the end of the day she still saved a lot of money.

I'd do it if you have a generous time frame.

My friend got hers second hand off ebay then took it to a tailor and got it fitted perfectly. Saved her ALOT.

Remember hun, I'll happily tag along if you want to spend a day trying on every dress in the state to get an idea of what you like

I bought mine off ebay from a seller in China.

I would recommend getting a dressmaker to take your measurements. I did it myself and the dress ended up a bit small (but I was able to get my Aunt to fix it up). All up including postage it was about $200.

Thanks, I was thinking for going for a little bit bigger and getting a dress maker to fit it for me.

I bought mine from House of Brides. It arrived about 2 weeks ago, so still very exciting to look at!
My recommendation is, if you do buy it online, get your measurements from a dress maker

My cousin got hers from dressilyme and was very happy with it.

We also got our bridesmaids dresses for my friends wedding from there and they were really good.

I bought a wedding dress from China off ebay and it never came. By the time I had waited the 6 weeks that they told me it would take it was too late for me to make any complaints.
I ended up getting my dress at a factory outlet near Gosford for $100...but it would've been nice to not lose that other $200.
