Gee some people really got crap!

I actually got all fantastic gifts this year! The ILs always get us rubbish!!! This year we got $$!

My parents got us 10 movie tickets, vegan sweets, me a book and DH socks and undies.

DD even got good presents!! It's a massive first though as DH family always buy us all crap we don't want.

But DD had gastro all day and boxing day so that was horrible!

One year from MIL I got a set if 'toy' fake nails, that would prob fit a 10 ye old, so I would have something under the tree.

My SIL got my 2 month old twins 'something to grow into'. Some clothes that will fit them in 12 months and then be out of season, and a sports beach set in a backpack that they won't be able to use for at least another year. Thinking ahead!

Needless to say we don't do adult presents anymore.

My in laws live in the UK and sent DD a cheap and nasty chef hat and cookie cutters etc (my mum had already told her that she had bought a gorgeous set here). And for me and DP she sent a CD and DVD!!! Nice but they were actually ones that DP owns ie she sent DP her own stuff wrapped up like a present!!!! OMG you can't give someone their own stuff as a present!!!! What is wrong with these people????

MIL like to show how much money she has on everyone but never gives anything good. Well to us anyway. DS1 got pjs which are size 6, he is only size 3-4 and soap. DS2 got pj's size 2 he only just gone into size 1 and soap. DH got 2 old man polo tops. I good an oven mit. Truely I don't know why she bothers she only does it to be a *****. DH runs around and does stuff for her every year and thats all he get. What really bugs me is I know she bough the boys cousin much much more (she leaves prices on the things so I know she spent $12 on the boys. Cousins got the same as the boys but also a $40 soccer net. He is only 5 months older than DS1 so it really ****es me off she plays favourites. Really Really ****es me off.

Mikenzee got pneumonia, and a iv cannula is back on oxygen and a hospital admission, and depending on what the consultant thinks of her blood work this morning possible a blood transfusion as well.

    Everything else was perfect

Two $100 Pumpkin Patch Gift Cards. Very generous, but I just don't like Pumpkin Patch clothing. I've been in there twice, trying really hard to find something nice that I would put on my children, and I just walk out again. I love Rhubarb and CR and Seed, but Pumpkin Patch just doesn't appeal any more. It used to when my DD was a baby (5 years ago), but I think they've gone really off in their girls' clothing. I fear the gift cards will go unused

Can you re-gift them? Or try to sell them? Or if you're really stuck maybe offer them to a charity for a raffle.
