Ugh story of my life... I even told dh which shop to buy me a necklace from, described the designer (I like original arty pieces) and EVERYTHING... He got me a nice necklace it's just not the one I wanted and described... Ive been telling him for nearly a year what its like etc... He got the exact thing he wanted... He just says I'm too fussy...

BIL got me a bottle of bubbly, I'm 31 weeks pregnant and not a big drinker even when not pregnant. Yep, thanks for that!

So many things I don't even know where to start. Ranging from orange truffles to cheap pens to cosmetics and toiletries from companies who test on animals (which I boycott - and they know). Capped off a top day where all the food served at lunch was pregnancy unfriendly except the baked ham. I had 2 slices of that and a piece of avocado for lunch. Bah humbug.

Oh moxy, I know how you feel!! At least this year the food for us was 'our needs' friendly as several people eat the same way, I spent last weekend with my family for a pre Christmas and had a garden salad... Today was at our friends parents house, it was heaps better... On the present side of things is it too hard to be surprised?!?! Like I think about everyone's presents and find out exactly what they want or will love... Never happens to me tho..

And not that it's present related, but the day started with me cleaning DS after a bout of diarrhea and ended with me throwing out my lower back to the point where I can barely walk.

DH and I are actually both laughing about it as I type. It's all rather amusing. Until I have to stand up :-/

Indigo, I can post you some of my pressies if you want. How crapful that you got nothing. Though I wonder if nothing might be better than thoughtless "stuff".

Well df and I didnt do gifts this year, I got a beautiful SS gift from a friend and my mum bought us a box of chocolates each..so no real complaints for Christmas..but my mil buys me the worst birthday presents, this year a glass ball with fairies etched inside it, it changes colour and is hideous, so I let the boys have it as a night light they love it
