Default What's everyone up to this Xmas eve/xmas day - its very quite in here..

So what is everyone up to? For those who don't have much planned be sure to pop in to BH and say hi.

Today has gone soooo quick!!! We were getting stuff ready for lunch tomorrow - its really hot (for me 28degrees!) and our AC is broken so it was a killer with the oven going. But all the vegies are cooked (spuds halfed cooked as suggested my Thermi ).

I was told to bring a pavlova for lunch as well - I never made one before (bit odd being a chef i know but still). My first one looked a bit lame, so I have just made a second one and it looks heaps better.

I have some presents to wrap but CBF. Im a bit ba hum bug this yr

Painting the loungeroom, cleaning the filthy house before my partner's family come tomorrow, child wrangling, and I'm about to do dodgy diy cat proofing of the garage involving bird netting and a staple gun.

wish I was at the beach with a beer but we're staying home this xmas.

sitting on my bum at home while DP and DS are out doing a last minute present dash. Then an early dinner and off to MIL's church for the nativity play (we are atheists but she would really like DS to go which is cool by us- plus he gets to be an adorable shepherd) then home for a bit of cleaning and prepping for xmas breakkie tomorrow which we are hosting (nothing too big as we have 2 lunches to go to!) and THEN sitting down to watch the nightmare before christmas and the life of brian

So i probably won't be around much here tonight either
