Why do you never see a baby crow?

I have NEVER seen a small/baby crow! Only big ones.

i saw one i was pretty sure was a fledgling in my front yard the other week. from what i've seen of other birds, birds that are reared in a nest are pretty well adult size by the time they are ready to leave.

I dunno. I'm not scared of them in the way that I will run away screaming like a mad woman if I saw one about, but if one wanted to peck my eyes out, sure I'll squeel and run, like I would if anyone or anything tried to gauge my eyes out. Depends what they are like I suppose.

I hate birds. They scare the bejesus out of me. There's the pecking and the swooping and the hideous noises they make ... but the main reason I hate them is because they don't have facial expressions, so you can't tell what they're thinking.

    Same goes with fish

I don't mind birds, but I do crap myself when pigeons are very close by and suddenly start flapping. I hate the sound of their wings and the gush of the wind they make against my legs when they flap. Ewwwwwwww!

I don't like birds. I'm okay with them as long as they're not near me. We had a pet Galah when I was a kid, it was supposed to be tame and the people we got it off just loved it so much...it was vicious and horrible and we had to put huge thick gloves on to get it back in his cage so that it didn't break the skin when it attacked us...the people we got it from used to kiss its beak!

Only time my bird fear has been a problem was when I was working in a vets but thankfully my boss and co-workers were understanding and they never made me go and get one from the cage or feed/water them etc.

Don't love them enough to have let's, but really appreciate native and wild birds. We won't have a cat because it kills birds. Not huge fan if Indian miners but we have some pretty birds here, galahs, rosellas, black cocatoos, little blue things, kokkaburras. We even have two wedge tail eagles which are so majestic.
