Totally agree with this. I didn't have one for ages and I recently got one that goes on top of my stand mixer. Last weekend I had my pizza dough rising in the bowl of the mixer waiting to knead while I sliced the pepperoni and mushrooms and grated half a kilo block of cheese in the food processor. I was in pizza making heaven.

I'm getting a Magimix out of our tax return this year. I have Kithcenaid mixer which I love and we bought my sister a Kitchenaid food processor for Christmas a couple of years ago which she loves but doesn't really use a lot. I'm going to go the Magimix 4200XL as it has brilliant reviews! I can't wait as I've been getting by all these years with a Sunbeam stickmixer food processor attachment which is tiny!

I was given a thermomix as a present and I have to say I use it at least 3 times a day. It inspires such healthy and "back to basics" cooking, I love it. If my house was on fire I would grab my kids my husband and then my thermomix lol!

I'm thinking of just biting the bullet and getting a Thermo.. Maybe.. I don't know yet. Lol

NewWave Mia is my pride and joy. Cost $500, and is very sturdy and quiet during operation. No wobbling at high speeds (my last mixer lurched about when at high speeds), and looks great in my kitchen - so good, that it stays out on the bench 24/7! Love love love!
