Hmm, my at times, feral children seem to have a toothpaste sucking, grape eating addiction... Suddenly alarm bells are ringing! Vegemite I knew was on a failsafe diet list, grapes no, toothpaste suckers just hadn't registered!

Sounds like typical behaviour at that age to me. Sounds all too familiar except our ds started such behaviour at 3yrs, you will be surprised at how your pregnancy may affect him, we found when the new addition arrived his behaviour was at its worst but 6mths on and we have our angel back

Yes I'm serious. Sorry if it sounded like I wasnt.

My kids beg to brush their teeth and have 'second rounds'. Here I have been thinking whoopie kids that aren't a pita to brush teeth!

I'm removing the toothpaste from the Santa stockings as I type

Anyway - apologies jacksmuma, toothpaste 'reforming mother of toothpaste addicted toddlers' has hijacked your thread.

2 of my DD's eat these foods and DONT have the meltdowns so looks like it depends on your child.

Maybe you should try herbal toothpaste? I started using it and it has all natural ingredients, tastes fine and has added calcium for healthy teeth. It's in most supermarkets (I get mine from Coles/woolies in the normal toothpaste section, usually down the bottom). Maybe its worth checking out for you ladies that have toothpaste addicted munchkins, as that really can't be healthy with all that junk in it!!!

Sorry OP, off-topic I know but just thought I'd throw my two cents in!
