Some thoughts on the issues raised:
1. Demographic research has been patchy but the one consistent trend is that RIC is much more common in regional, as against urban and rural, Australia.
2. Queensland rates have been in decline for several years, but last year's fall was very large, bringing that state into line with the national average. The reason for this is unclear.
3. Only public hospitals in NT provide elective circ. If anyone is aware of any other public hospitals providing elective circ, I would be very interested to know the details (please PM if you don't want to post) here.
4. In general, rates in all states are declining (as they have been for 40 years).
How is this your "pro circ" view??? All you're saying is your kids "were done".
Having a "view" would mean you have an opinion based upon research or recommendations.
Ie: "My view on circumcision is that it is a very necessary thing to do because "insert whatever reason you think it is very necessary to remove an important part of your child's body that God has created for a reason".
