Default 2 year old Christmas Gifts

    Hi,

I wrapped DD's xmas gifts last night and there seemed to be a lot of them! I have been collecting bits and pieces as I see them for the last few months, but until I saw them all together, didn't realise how many I had...

Is this about average for a 2 year old: Bath bubbles and bath crayons from Santa. That is what she has asked for for a couple of months. A $1 beach ball.

A remote control spider from Daddy, Aldi, (She loves spiders), 3 sets of dress up costumes (on sale after halloween at Coles), a puzzle, (op shop) 5 books, (Op shop and Aldi), stickers (Riot, on sale), 2 x fuzzy felt sets, (Aldi), an etch a scetch (aldi) and a hooded swim towel (target sale)

We have marked a couple for my dad and hubby's mum.

Look forward to hearing from you,

    Di

Im not sure what is considered 'standard' for a 2 year old, but FOB and I have bought DS (2.5) a tricycle and helmet from us, and a Thomas toy from his baby brother.

Santa will be giving books, colouring pencils and colouring book, dinosaurs, some cars and planes, a ball, a few crafty things, wooden musical instruments, a wooden kaleidoscope and some wooden puzzles.

I've bought most of the latter at toy sales and from the toy outlet so they haven't cost a lot and are good quality items.

Wow... My girls are getting not so much this year, and only 1 toy each, as we already have so much and they will be given so much as well, and it's DD1's birthday in February... so they are getting practical things. So they are getting:

    DD1
    Clamshell w. sand
    Bucket and spade
    2x pairs of shoes
Wooden letters for her bedroom door - ELLA
    Play school DVD
    Baby banz sunglasses

    DD2
Letters for her door - EVIE
    Bumbo
    1x pair shoes
    Togs
    Clothes
Fold out couch (only because I bought it for my niece and then found a better one for her).

And this year I'm just doing a mix of Santa/Mummy-Daddy - no set gift from either/or...

You were able to buy them at cheap shops, Kmart, Target, but I could not find any in any of these shops before xmas, so I got them from Ebay. They are awesome fun for both child and parent!

C loves spiders, so I am hoping she will be super excited by it.
