Crofty, I'm so sorry you feel this way. Christmas is such a difficult time for many, as it brings up so much emotions. I believe you do have hope. The specialist will tell you what he thinks, and we hope that he will be able to get you pregnant. What did your FS say your prognosis is? Are is Dr M your current doctor?

Are you having any time off for Christmas are you able to do some fun things, like having a few drinks with friends? Will you see your family?

I hope you can get through this, and we are here to help you and be a crutch.

Lucky - Woo Hoo!!! So very pleased for you, they look like great lines to me! Congratulations, hope the next 8 months go smoothly for you.

Slinky - What wonderful news! Congratulations! Welcome to the world Audrey! Hope you are enjoying your babymoon!

Crofty - I am so sorry you are going through this. I don't have any words of wisdom but I know how hard it is, please feel free to pm me if you need someone to talk too.

Starfish - How are you going? When is your next scan?

to everyone else, hope you're all well.

AFM - Still struggling with the finality of the BFN. Still can't believe I am never going to experience the joy of another baby. DS is going through a phase where he is asking me why we don't have a baby and can we have one. It makes it so hard. I still lurk and pleased to see so much good news on the board. Still wish I could also have been a part of it (sob). Best wishes for the festive season to you all xxxx

Little feet, my heart breaks for you. I guess you're not considering donor eggs? If you're not I hope you find peace with your decision and know that you did everything that you could to make a sibling for your son, but it wasn't to be. He will be a happy and loved child with lots of friends and a success I life. Siblings don't guarantee any of those things. You did everything you could the universe if just against you on this one and it's not fair. Big hugs xox

Hi everyone It's been awhile and soooo much has happened here I hope I remember where everyone is up to.
Starfish and Swedie I'm LOVING your little countdown charts in your signature and celebrating with you both as each milestone is reached. Starfish, all the best for your NT scan (first trimester?) this Friday. What a brilliant, wonderful Christmas pressie for you and DH.
Littlefeet how are you love? It's wonderful to hear from you and I hope you have a lovely Christmas planned for you and DH.
luckyme1 are you kidding me!!!! Congratulations!! Only last month you were posting an ad for egg donors, then you had an amazing cycle and now a BFP The fact that this one has taken bodes so well for your two frosties too. I'm so thrilled for you and what a Christmas present for you too! I can't help but think that once you were open to other options and avenues for bringing a child into your life, your body relaxed and everything just fell into place.
Picky how are you going? Long time no hear.
crofty I completely understand your frustration and sadness. Christmas is tough at the best of times and it signals another year past and makes you think of all those lost hopes and dreams throughout the year. I spend it with my nephews whenever I can so I get to relive that childish excitement vicariously through them. What I can say though is it also signals a fresh new year full of new hopes and dreams. Focus on the dream and let go of the disappointment if you can. 2013 is YOUR year
lochnessie I hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your son and smother him with love, kisses and pressies
and to millie, trying, pinkbutterfly, yinyang, slinky and everyone else.
afm well still no job apart from the small amount of freelance I've picked up. But honestly it's just made me reassess everything and come up with some new plans for 2013. One more freelance gig and I'll be laughing, so I'm focusing on building up my own business now. Also, I have another property that's been on the market since October so (even though it's not a great time to sell) I'm going to push to sell it even at a loss in the new year and use some of the loan on my It's not all doom and gloom, it's just forcing me to make some decisions I'd been putting off for years.

Rubeedoo - Not good news here I'm afraid. I lost my baby at 9 weeks, found out at the scan, it was quite a shock after two healthy scans in weeks 7 and 8. I had a D&C two days ago and am recovering well.

Sorry to bring bad tidings, may you all have much better luck than I, and a New Year full of happiness and family blessings and of course cute little babies. Xoxo
