Starf1sh you are so incredibly courageous. Thank you for sharing and I've no doubt that your meeting will make a difference to so many women in the future. If his ego doesn't get in the way, it would be good for your FS to share your case study at conferences with other FSs around the country.
I've been blown away by the courage and perserverence and support shared on bubhub, which is why I came out of lurker land You are all truly amazing women!
AFMI'm in middle of first AF after last BFN. To be honest I'm relieved it's on track because I've read two cases on bubhub of the new drug Elonva stuffing up people's cycles for up to four months.
I'm thinking I'll use the frostie in Nov and just get it over with. I know that's not a great attitude but I feel as if this year has been one long period of living in limbo and I need to be able to make plans again, and a new year is a good time to start.

Good luck rubeedoo, I understand about wanting to get it over and done with, the uncertainty is mind blowing.

Starfish, awesome work. You should be very proud of the difference you've made and the legacy you have created.

AFM - in the middle of injections. I had a scan on Friday which was day seven of injections and only five follicles which I was disappointed with but we have another scan on Monday and hopefully more pop up. We only need one egg, so please let this cycle be the one.. A frostie would be nice though...

Just wanted to thank you all for your support during my time here but now sadly my journey is over. Got a BFN this morning and I am totally heart broken. We can not do any more IVF due to finances and now I have to find a way to accept that I will never have another child and DS will never be a brother.

I wish you all the best of luck and hope you get your BFP's soon.

Littlefeet - oh I so feel for you love. I'm in the same boat financially, it's been such a struggle to pay for two stim cycles. Hoping and praying for a windfall for us both. Please don't lose heart. Many women on bubhub have ended their ivf journey only to fall pregnant naturally, look at Fionaalice! Sending you hugs
Luckyme1- how is your cycle going? Five follies is good and as you said, you only need 1! When is your EPU? I've got everything crossed for you
Fionaalice- Thanks for the babydust and I hope you're absolutely loving motherhood
Lochnessie - how are you going with your new protocol with Wazza? Are you gearing up to cycle soon? Good luck!

AFM- Am off on holidays for a week at the beach with the furbabies tomorrow. Have some big decisions to make and there's nothing like a holiday to get some perspective. So, until I return, take care ladies and be kind to yourselves.

    Default Dear Dr Specialist

Oh, I forgot to share this hilarious blog post re the financial woes of IVF and loaded fertility specialists!
    http://ladyblogalot.com/2012/09/13/dear-dr-specialist/
Her specialist is also my specialist and that car is just a slap in the face every time I go to the clinic. It's so asking to be keyed by someone one day, probably by a woman overloaded with ivf hormones!!

Littlefeet, I'm sorry this wasn't your cycle and that the $$ have put a halt on your IVF journey, makes it even harder If there is a way to a natural BFP I wish it for you

    Luckyme,

Rubeedoo, hilarious! Especially love the bit about fertility treatment as prizes and WTF with the 'car house' Have a wonderful beach holiday (I have been back about a week from mine, so good for the soul and stopping to enjoy the simple things in life, like sleep!, food I don't have to cook and the joy of being in the ocean).

    Big and to everyone else

Starfish welcome back! I hope you had a fabulous holiday, you sure did deserve it.
Thankyou for sharing your FS meeting with us I just hope I can stop this happening to others in the future. Have you ever thought of going public with this? I think the more awareness the better, only through you have I heard of AS.
So where are you at now?

Littlefeet I'm so sorry that this journey is over for you I hope you have some lovely family & friends that can support you through this sad time.

Spot my lovely how are you? I think of you all the time & just want to hug you.

Luckyme how did your cycle go?

Rubeedoo nothing like a holiday to clear the head. I live at the beach & I find it great for clearing the head.

Swede how are you? Thinking of you.

Fiona how is Mummyhood treating you?

AFM I have been MIA as I have been on a huge clearing out journey over the last few weeks. As most of you know I lost my beautiful Mum last September & my Dad 16 months prior ( DS just 6 weeks old ) anyway I feel I have finally let them go & I'm at peace with losing them. I started a fitness regime 6 weeks ago ( training 6 days a week) & for some reason as I have gotten fitter, I have let them go, weird I know, but feels GREAT!
Anyway I have started Lucrin & prednisolone last week, have lipoidal flush booked for Wednesday & then wait for AF. I'm looking forward to seeing if Wazza can perform a miracle on me, I guess if anyone can he can
I will keep you all updated over the following weeks.

    Hi everyone

lochnessie, I've heard that if anyone can create a miracle it's Wazza.

rubeedoo, hope you're enjoying your holiday

littlefeet so sorry to hear your journey is over. I hope you find some peace with your decision.

AFM. Got two eggs out of eight potential follies. One fertilised, so at mo we have a three cell. Transfer on Monday. Hope the embie lasts till then. Not a great result and quite a few tears were shed so far.

Nessie, I'm so happy for you that you have found some peace after the loss of your precious mum and dad And I'm super impressed with your fitness regime! Seriously got to get myself back into regular exercise rather than the very sporadic stuff I've been doing!

Wonderful to hear your cycle is underway, look forward to being cycle buddies with you

I received a letter back from the clinic while I was away outlining the changes they say they will make as a result of our meeting. So I am hoping to hear they have put their words into action and all IVFA patients who sadly miscarry will be provided with written info on their options and the risks and benefits of both surgical and medical management. I will also be closely following their website to see the new web page they have said they will be adding about Asherman's Syndrome and where to go for specialist help.

As for going public, I feel I have gotten from the process what I needed and for me it was always about increasing awareness of all options available for woman who face this awful choice, something which wasn't available to me when I was in this situation (more than once!). If it wasn't for our own Trying (who has had her own successful battle with AS) I might still be wandering in the darkness!

I am also pleased that the post I wrote on AS has generated more than 5000 hits (so far) and several women have since made contact with Prof V and had further investigations and treatment for AS after recognising the symptoms in themselves. So there is a lot of satisfaction in that

Luckyme, I'm sorry you are disappointed with your cycle results but there are several mama's here who can tell you all about their gorgeous bubs who came from 1 or 2 eggs Sending you lots of for your transfer tomorrow.

    Swede,

Spot, you have been in my thoughts also

AFM, just back from visiting my beautiful sister and her brand new DS. Had many aunty cuddles with my gorgeous nephews and realised the baby ache really hasn't gone away, just been buried in other hedonistic pursuits this year while I've been having surgeries and trying to sort out my "oven" issues

I am also about a week into a FET (cryo stim) cycle
