Hi ladies - wow, i've been meaning to post for nearly a week now but never seem to get on my laptop (and it's so hard from my phone.

Starfish - my heart goes out to you and DH your journey really is a testing one, and you are so strong, I admire you. It is so difficult as most of our journeys are very tiring and we're all very strong willed and organised (just look at the research we all do - we could all have PHDs in ART!!!!) and for you not to be able to control the next step to the desired outcome must be very difficult. My DH even said to the dogs the other day, "we love you but we want real kids too, I think we also deserve them" - it nearly broke my heart, well, it does break my heart as there is nothing we all want more in this life than to have one of our own to hold I know I sound like a cliche' but pls know that my for you Star and know that we're all hear for you - and g8 to see that you are getting so much support from T42.

Swedeenie - hope you FS appt went well and your on your way to start your FET thanx for asking, yeah I had my lap and hyst on Thursday - still very bruised and sore, wan't at all what I expected TBH!!!! oh well, Im still resting up. Will wait for results - nothing out of the ordinary was picked up, I think the Doc did say she removed a cyst - where from no idea - I was still pretty whacked post surgery.

Pink B - Happy to hear Isabella is doing well - be careful not to bury your head too much babe and take some time out to enjoy yourself as well xo - GL with all the appts scheduled and thx for the GL on my procedures

T42 - for making it to 35 weeks (soon to be 36!!!) you must be stoked!!!! hope your relaxing and all the best leading up to the birth of your beautiful baby

Millie - great to hear that you feel your pregnancy time is flying - hope its smooth sailing from now on in - 4 months already!!!!

Slinky - big congrats babe - that is fantastic news you and DH must be over the moon!!!!!

everyone I've missed - hope all the bubbas are doing well

AFM - well procedure all over - wasn't expecting to feel so battered and bruised. Anyway we'll see what comes from this, as far as know, there was no real problems identified from the procedure, no blocked tubes, no endo, there was a cyst removed (not sure if in the cervix, uteris or ovary) but I'm sure I'll find out in a couple of weeks when I go see the specialist. Not sure if this is a good thing or not

    Take care everyone xo Crofty

    Hi Ladies,

Can I join this thread? I have been lurking for a while but thought it may be time to introduce myself.

Starfish - I don't know much about your history but from what I have read recently youa re going through a really tough time. Sounds like there are some amazing women on here who have been able to give you some support but just wanted to let you know my thoughts are with you.

Slinky - Congratulations!! Always great to hear about a BFP. Hope your pg progresses smoothly.

to everyone else, looking forward to getting to know you all.

AFM - I have low AMH (only scored 1) and am getting ready to have FET this month. I had my first IVF in Feb which only produced 2 eggs although both fertilised and sadly gave me a BFN. I'm praying this is the one for us. We were very lucky to conceive DS naturally, very quickly so finding out I had low AMH was a huge shock.

Mum4Nay & Crofty - Thank you for the welcome. No I am not on DHEA. I didn't even know what it was until I joined BH. My FS has never mentioned it but it is something I have thought about mentioning to her and to ask why she never suggested it. I don't know too much about it though. Sounds like you both think it's worth taking? How long did you have to take it for? Sorry for all the questions!

Little feet - you need to take DHEA for at least 4-6 months to have an effect and you need a script from the doc and go to a compounding chemist. I've got articles if you want me to email them to you - send me a PM. However, it sounds like you're already producing good eggs with 100% fertilisation rate so maybe you've just not been lucky? And I don't think you can take DHEA during a FET so maybe just ask your FS about it if needed after that. Some of them are reluctant to prescribe but your GP can do it too

mum4nay - Thanks for the reply. I am so impatient, 4-6 months sounds like forever!! However if there was a chance it would give me my second child I would do it. My FS said that she was "surprised" with how good the quality of my eggs were, so althogh I have a low reserve it doesn't seem that the quality is bad. I think I have just been unlucky. It was a real shock to discover I had low AMH as with DS we conceived the first month of trying. I thought it might take longer second time around but not this long. I had wanted to start trying when DS turned 1 but DH made me wait as we were moving from the UK to Aus so he wanted to wait until we were a bit more settled.... I'll see what happens with my FET and then look into DHEA but hopefully we won't need it Thanks again x

Little feet - my AMH was undetectable < 1, FS said I'd never get PG without a donor egg.... but like you, quality was good so they only had to get one egg... and that took 6 months on DHEA Seems like forever but it was worth it. Good luck x
