Default **Any Ladies doing IVF in Brisbane, now or in the upcoming months????#2***

    Hi Ladies,

Thanks LouLou and TreeGirl and all of you for your continous encouragement and support. It has been a god send during this cycle. I am still booked in for 9:30am Monday for IUI. Although I thought I was having ovulation pains on Friday so my FS suggested we have sex Friday night which we did just incase. LouLou I really appreciate your positive outlook and I have been trying to focus on these things over the past two days. I will keep you all posted . I too will have a lovely long two week wait

Hope your all enjoying the lead up to Christmas.

Much love and good luck to you all.

MrsFoote, maybe yr already UTD from Fri nt and don't know it yet . My 1st IUI didn't work but we fell pg naturally 10d later from weird 2nd O that mth - so you never know what the cycle drugs have done for you. Anyway, wishing you LOTS AND LOTS of luck for Monday

Loulou, thank you for your lovely message. Yr so sweet! I'm hoping yr right! My mood had been amazingly good and sane since tsfr, considering all my loopiness before

Treegirl, yr cramps are most likely implantation cramps, as the others have said. Take it as a sign yr pg! As for AF, it comes 2w after O - so if O was late then yr cycle will be longer. It's the time b4 O that can change, as was the case for you this mth. btw, stay away from POAS

Hi to everyone else, hope yr all having a lovely weekend and staying relaxed

AFM, went to xmas party last nt and ate waaaaay too much junk! Then had panic attacks all night that the sugar overload is killing my embie . so drinking heaps of water trying to flush it out now! Other than that am staying amazingly sane considering my loopiness b4 tsfr! Keep saying "baby on board!". No cramping yet, which is surprising considering the amount of trouble my fibroids gave me last time. Acup has really controlled them at last . Hopefully I'll have a sane, uneventful 2ww with bfp at the end as a reward . Just had my 4th piece of core. Hope it works cos it's tastes a bit yuck!

Ladies, I am just devastated. It's a BFN - blood test confirmed it. I had a strong feeling this wouldn't work, being an FET where the other 2 in the frozen batch failed to thaw, AND the fact that the original decision to freeze was a bit touch and go.
I'm feeling exceedingly ripped off at the moment. Thought I might have a preggers xmas, but not to be.
I am also thinking "am I just kidding myself here"? I mean, the IVF stats really aren't that good, are they?... I think I need to be a bit more realistic about my chances here (even though I know I've only done 2 cycles). We all hear the good news stories, but, really, they are more the exception than the rule, aren't they?
I am feeling VERY bitter atm.
Sorry to really bring the thread down.

Treegirl I'm so sorry this wasn't the cycle for you. It's ok to be bitter and angry! Ivf is such a tough emotional road to take. I hope with the support of your family over this Christmas period you can relax a little and look forward at future plans.

Treegirl I'm so sorry honey This seriously sucks and is not fair...esp right before xmas..argh!!
Like MrsB2 said, it's ok to be angry!!! It would be worse if you weren't, it's best not to bottle things and let it all build up....let it all out honey and then when you're ready take a deep breath and try to re assess all the things you have in your favour
You're in my prayers at this horrible time, I truely hope that you can somehow have a good christmas day, we are all here if you need!
    Take care xxx

    Hi All,
I am 6dp5dt so 11dpo and was having the worst nausea yesterday to decided to test.
And It is quite dark too, its so early too.
    Not sure what to think.

Will be testing tomorrow and again thursday hoping for that line to get darker.
Then bloods will be friday morning.

I can smell my workmates coffee and boy is it strong, never noticed that before, headaches and oh so tired. yawning all the time.
Just think its strange that i have such strong symptoms this early don't normally get these until around 6 weeks with previous pregnancies.

Treegirl, I'm so sorry for your BFN. Please don't give up hope. You do have odds against you, as we all do, but that doesn't mean you don't get to have a miracle of your own. 2 rounds of ivf is still only early days for many. FS needs to tweak the protocol more specifically for your needs. Of course only you can decide whether to continue along this path or not, but take some time to cry, spoil yourself and hopefully the new year will bring you some answers. I hope 2012 is your year

Angela, huge congrats on your early BFP . I really wouldn't have expected it so soon. I don't know if I'm game to test this early - I want the hope to continue but I'm not sure it will?

I'm too scared to dream this time. I think this is keeping me sane during 2ww. I guess the 1st week's almost over already, but then my FS wants me to wait til a week Fri.
I get really starving and want to keep eating a lot, but then once I'm full I feel really full. I can only sip my water slowly or else I feel sick. I'm having to have arvo naps. I'm still getting emotional and crying about anything on TV or whatever, but not feeling down and stressed like I was b4 tsfr. Also my lower back is giving me grief. Not sure whether any of this is related to pregnancy or hormones or just me being weird. Staying pretty calm about it all tho so far, which is unusual but good.

How is everyone else? It's been pretty quiet here lately - hope we haven't lost anyone in transition btwn threads?
    Babydust to everyone
