At the MAC counter at Myer looking at red lipstick, perhaps? Or in the moshpit at the Tote? Lining up for dinner for 3 hours at some hole in the wall restaurant which doesn't take bookings? Or maybe on the steps of the State Library at a rally? God i love this city

I just think that's funny... Not in a bad way at all... Didn't realise so many people were opposed it it until this thread, although I would hate to live in the city though I guess... Haven't really thought about it too much I guess lol

i will never leave brisbane. i want to move back to a particular northern suburb, i don't like logan. i can't stand being more than half an hour from the city centre and currently i'm exactly half an hour from there by car and an hour by train. hate. it. need. civilisation.
the suburb i want to move back to is 15 by car and 25 by bus, no trains. close to civilisation plus the benefit of being a very large suburb with quiet sections. and the fact that i lived there til i was 19 and i'm not hugely fond of change.

eta: lived in samford for 6 months and went stir crazy. nice to visit but i will never live anywhere like that again. and that's barely even country!

Big cities like sydney. We went there earlier in the year and were there 48 hours and were cheering as we drove out on the M12 The traffic is unbelievable, we got stuck on one of the big Rds for 2 hours and was told that's the norm . The cost of living is crazy (friends we stayed with live in a unit the size of our lounge and dining room paying $400 p/w). The crime is thru the roof.

Yep I'm a country girl thru and thru
