After all my kids and many different carriers I LOVE the ergo! I carry my 23 month old and 3 year old in it! Best thing I ever bought!

I just temporarily retired my ergo, last time I used it I was at the airport, pushing a pram with a car seat & carry on bags, dragging a suitcase, and carrying my 18kg 3 year old on my back while 20 weeks pregnant, without DF & so grateful to have the ergo!!!

I still used it reasonably often until about 2.5 years with him.

Can't wait to pull it out for little miss.

I still use mine all the time with a 12kg toddler. and a friend just bought one with a 14kg toddler.
They get lots of use! up till 20kg easily

Don't get them from ebay - the ones that go for very cheap are fakes from korea, and as such the buckles are probably of a very inferior quality and i wouldn't want to trust them to hold a toddler.

I got mine from here (There is also a list of authorised retailers on this site, and an article on how to spot fakes)

As another poster said, be wary of cheap ones, especially on ebay as there are a lot of fakes out there and buckles have been known to snap on them.

I used my ergo from when DD3 was about 3 weeks old (with the insert) and love it
