we have totally neglected these lemons though, and they still grew well. Just a drink every now and then, and they are lovely!
    Not cheap here either!
Ended up having fishnchips, and attempting limencello ))

I love tonic water with lemon juice in summer. Very refreshing.

Lemon and Lime Pie, Lemon on pancakes, Lemon cheesecake - all delicious!

But as for you people saying to just eat them, are you crazy?????

I just can't suck a lemon. I love sour stuff but I just can't bring myself to eat a lemon. DH loves them though.

Add a egg yolk or two, add some miringue (however its spelt) on top, cook in moderate oven til miringue is golden brown on top and tadaa - easy lemon miringue.

I can get the formal recipe if anyone wants, its the best lemon meringue ever!

Well with a bit of tequila and salt, absolutely

Depending on what type of lemon you have you can use the leaves to season food.

We make curd, syrup, chutney glaze, marinade, vinaigrette, cordial/lemonade, preserve them, candy them and then dip them in chocolate, gremolata, salad dressing and use in all manner of cooking....

A lemon tree in fruit is a gift.

If you can get a heap of untreated sawdust you can bury some lemons in that and when you run out, you have fresh lemons-making sure you pack it in well. (The sawdust stops any air getting to them so they don't age)
