    ASend your lemons over!

Our lemon tree got some viruses so we cut it down and burnt it - we can't ever have another lemon tree in our back yard. It was horrible, it was covered in a black sooty stuff, it had gall wasp and some orange fungus stuff - it wasn't particulary fruitful anyhow - all the lemons were small and quiet foul

    lemons are always cheap anyhow

*Juice a bunch and freeze the juice in ice cube trays. Store in zip lock bags. Fantastic in mineral water in summer or in a gin and tonic. Also great for recipes. You can never have enough cubes of lemon juice.
That's what we do, so handy when there are none on our tree

    That's a shame!

Try alcohol soaked MOTHs next time.
Apparently, they can help the tree grow but aren't much use for anything else!

And I wish lemons were cheap around here! The fruit is all robust and VERY tasty.
    Such a beautiful, versatile fruit!!!

Sometimes you reap what you sow- maybe your soil was cr@ppy? Or you encouraged the gall flies (such insidious things- they try to suck the goodness out of EVERYTHING)

I love lemons, so versatile. Especially limoncello and lemon chicken yummmmmm
