    Default Advice needed desperately - 5 x positive PT's

Hi girls, as the title suggests, I desperately need some advice!

Bit of a long story but we've been TTC #1 for a very long time now. Have recently been seeing a ob/gyn & looking at starting fertility treatment. Doctor told me as I'm not getting AF, there's no chance of getting preg until we start treatment which is on the 20th Dec.

I've done 5 x PT's today & all are BFP's!!!! Yay! I've done a digi & it says preg 3+. As I haven't had AF since Oct last year, how far along would I be??? I had a BT about 6-8wks ago & nothing had shown then. Also looking back, I've had alot of drinks at x-mas parties as thought there was no chance of being preg. Now looking back, I'm just worried about having some drinks & also recently starting to take fat burner which now I'll def stop taking.

Any advice on how far you think a digi 3+ would be great. I'm going for a BT tomorrow but they normally take a few days to get results back.

I'm so excited but so scared looking back!

    Thanks in advance

Congratulations on the BFP! That's fantastic!

Your question is a little tricky to answer because 3+ could mean anything from 5 weeks upwards?

Best thing to do would be to go and have your HCG levels tested at your GP and see what they are doing I guess? And or a dating scan?

As for the drinks and the weight loss stuff, stop immediately and hopefully everything is ok

    Good luck

The placenta hasnt formed completely untill 12+ weeks, chances of something happening to bub at this stage if its not a constant chances are slim.

Thank-you so much for the replies! I'm just really worried when I think about a few drinks I've had over the last week or two.

I went to the doctor's this morning & they re-did another urine test which showed positive!

I have had bloods done this morning but they said they probably wouldn't get them back until Mon. They also referred me for a dating scan. I rang for an appt & they've booked me in at 11.45am today as they have been really really quiet over the holiday period! I have a feeling it may be too early to actually see something but the doctor was keen to refer me to see what's going on becuase its been so long since I last had my period.

My guess is that I'd only be around 5-6 weeks. Fingers crossed, am trying to drink alot of water but have been very queasy this morning so its difficult

    Thanks heaps for the replies
