Default Baby's hair colour = child's hair colour?

Did your baby's hair colour change as they got older?

Ds1 had a tiny bit of dark hair when born, then was blond and now at 3.5 has dark brown hair.

DS2 who's only four weeks was born very fair with almost white blond hair. In this past week it's turned strawberry blond and in natural light he looks like a little redhead!

DH and I both have dark brown hair, but MIL has red hair, so maybe it's come through!

Curious how your baby's hair changed, or didn't!

DS had dark brown hair when he was born. At 4 months he was completely bald. Now, at 7.5 months he's got platinum blonde hair. :O

I had blonde hair when I was born, then it went orange, now it's dark brown. It's fun to watch it change over photos

DD had brown hair at birth - then it went a tad auburn. It's now light brown at roots and dark blonde at tips and throws auburn in the sun and photos.

I have dark brown hair and DH has light brown. By DD's age my hair was darkish brown, despite it being much lighter with a hint of auburn as a baby.

Both myself and my DH both had blonde hair as babies which became dark blonde/light brown as toddlers and then eventually became dark brown by the time we were both in school.

DS looks to be the following the same pattern. At 14 months he's still quite a little blondie, a clone of his father at that age. Looks a bit odd though given that DH and I now have such dark hair... I am sure people would think DS is adopted given he also has blue eyes (DH has hazel eyes, I have dark brown!)

Like your DS mine was born white blonde with metallic gold bits in the sunlight but by a few months was strawberry blonde. By one he was a definite bright redhead which is now darkening as a teenager.
