Default When did you stop using your baby swing?

What age/stage was your bub when you stopped using a baby swing? My 11 week old dd is in her swing a lot and it's great for helping with settling in particular (saves my back). My mum will be looking after her a day a week from 4.5 months and I'm not sure if she'll need a swing or not. She has a bad back & my dd is big (already 6.3kg) so prolonged rocking/patting is not easy - although she does settle pretty easily most of the time. There's one on mega special at ToysRUs ($59) and I'm not sure if I should get it or not.

I had a swing for my ds but I didn't have it from a newborn and I can't remember when he stopped using it.

My DS is 5 months old and still uses his swing every day. He isn't in it as much as before as he wriggles and tries to roll in it but he still loves it.

My almost 4 month old won't sleep in her's anymore, but it is good for some down time when she is bored with floor play and I can't hold her (cooking dinner etc). they are definitely handy to have!
