Thanks ladies! Definitely sounds like the cs is the way to go!

So with the Maxi Cosy capsule, is that actually made for the cs, or is it completely separate and just fits on?

Definately the city select. The strider is a tank by comparison.

I got mine (2011 model) from Winkalots in NZ for $726 including the second seat and free delivery.

I love my city select! I have a 28 mth old and 5 month old and it is by far thebest pram. I lovethe different seat configurations and the fact that both seats can lay back especially as my toddler will still sleep in the pram.it is a bit heavy with both kids in it, but what double pram isnt. It's so easy to maneuver and fold, it really is a great pram

OP, the Maxi Cosi isn't made for the City Select but it is one of the compatible capsules (the best one in my opinion) so you do need to buy an adaptor too.

They have all the different colours available - I bought the Diamond colour. Plus you can get packages if you need the second seat or the capsule etc and any accessories too!
I just tried adding it to a cart, to calculate the total cost, and it said it couldn't be shipped to my address
Oh well, as a PP said, Winkalotts is cheap so I think that's where we're getting ours anyway.

That's very weird because I just tried it myself and had no problem - it gave me a shipping total of $98 to ship to my address here in Sydney.
