    Oh come ON.

Christianity evolves with humanity. That's why different denominations believe different things. it's also why we don't stone people to death any more.

In this instance the parish priest stepped in and told the principal to accept the child. The PRIEST. He's fairly across the teachings of the bible (old and new testament) and the doctrine of the Catholic church and he still thought the little child should be allowed to attend the school.

I think he did exactly what Jesus would have done.

God "hates" the sin, not the sinner...

Treat others how you want to be treated...

Yes, it's Judaism. It's what Christianity evolved from.

    edited to avoid accidental offence.

Haha NO! Argh I should edit that - it was reference to religion not having to change because suddenly society was ring all 'modern'.

*note to self - sarcasm does not translate*

O oh. People are getting fiery. Hehe. My DH knows lots of stuff but I don't, I even just rang him to ask him about stoning people, I cheated! He could talk to you for ages. Over alot of wine maybe lol ease the tension?! It's okay, this is only what I know and God has said in the Christian bible so I guess you call it my belief :-) sorry I can't be more informative!
