Many people have said Johnsons products were useless, why is that?

I don't have any experience of my own, hence why I ask.

I couldn't figure out why newborn dd's skin just kept peeling and peeling, I was using Johnson's baby wash and baby sorbolene so everything should have been ok right? Wrong.

My mach nurse told me to bin all Johnson's products (she pointed out they had alcohol in them) and I just used water. Dd's skin cleared up straight away!

When I do need soap I use goat's milk soap now, and QV moisturiser if necessary

Yup, I received a basket full of the mega bottles of Johnsons stuff, and talcs from my ex-MIL. It was sweet of her but totally useless to me as I refuse to use any of that on my kids, so I gave it to my sister who was also pregnant and more than happy to use it on her baby.

We got about 4 'first tooth' boxes. Problem is there is only one first tooth.
