Thanks Teesh. I've noted a number of women talking about taking aspirin. Why is that and why do you clot?

Teesh I really hope you start to feel better soon. Even though your not in pain such extreme bloating and blood clotting sound extremely dangerous. Great news that you have some eggs to freeze.

Newivf I've never been pregnant either so wouldn't know if you should feel something this early on. I'm due to test on wed and although I've been tempted to do earlier I think I'm just trying to cling onto a little bit of hope that it has worked. Usually I always feel bloated and uncomfortable like AF is coming (and then 2days later it has come) so perhaps it's a positive thing but in my case the delay could also be due to the crinone and pesseries.

Good luck Rebecca for test on Wednesday. I assume you are doing a blood test after the 2 wk wait. Are you doing crinone daily? Are you getting some chunky discharge of crinone sometimes? BTW I think we both go to the same clinic and both our egg pickup and embryo growth seems to have gone similar. I started with 6 mature eggs; only managed to fertilised 4; only 1 ended up suitable at day 6 for transfer. I'm a bit scared if we have to do it again that we will end up the same way. I'm looking at threads on HAICSI and PICSI but I don't think city fertility does it.

Do u go to CFCS southside aswell? Which dr do u see? I hadn't heard of HAICSI or PICSI before but I googled it briefly and think I'll look a bit further into it. I do crinone every morning and and progesterone pesseries at night. I spoke to the nurses about getting the discharge ur speaking about and they said that it's completely normal bcos ur body will absorb what it needs and get rid of the rest and it can come out chunky. I have the exact same fear about how next cycle will b if this doesn't work out. Try and stay hopeful, I know it's hard but who knows...fingers crossed hey

I only do the crinone, no progesterone pessaries...that is interesting....everyone must be different. I will have to enquire about it.
I like and respect my FS. I trust his judgement and his experience.
I am learning so much each day some of it helps you ask questions you didn't know to ask.

    Exactly right everyone is different.
That is good that your so happy with ur FS. I am with mine to. I have full faith in all the Dr's at CFC ( I've only ever been with CFC, haven't tried other clinics). I've had to see some other Drs that work there if my Dr has been away and I can honestly say that in my experiance they are all fantastic.

Agree. My FS started off as my gynaecologist and was just lucky after years of seeing him and now needing iVF that he also does that as well. I haven't enquired at any other clinic as he is attached to CFC. I'm going to ask the clinic about these extra ICSI procedures this week to see if they can do it.

Teesh I am SO sorry to hear that you have had to cancel your cycle but you have to be well and think of your health first. I hope you are ok Really happy that you can freeze some embies though

Hey New, how are you feeling? Got any more twinges? When do you test? We are so lucky to even be able to have access to IVF (just living in the right time I guess) but it is still so new isn't it. Just to let you know we did HA ICSI this time and the scientist told us this morning that pretty much all the sperm attached to the HA so we know the sperm is good but it really didn't help as they still had to chose the 'a team' from all those millions via their looks anyway.

Hi Capri Are you Rebecca at all? I am getting confused looking at the thread!

Rebecca, just to let you know I was on crinone last cycle and it didn't stop my AF from coming so that because it is after when you usually get your period that this is it for you

AFM ~ I am officially PUPO x2! Our embryos grew perfectly on target (like last cycle) until yesterday D4 where they began to slow down so we decided to transfer the only blasty (very early) and 1 of the morulas...here's hoping this is it for us, they don't seem confident we will get any frosties but will let us know tomorrow...

Thanks Buttercup for your information supplied about HAICSI - it sounds like new and I read on one thread that it may only be just coming to brisbane but sounded like a good thing for my situation if sperm quality and quantity are not good and the eggs don't develop well after day 3 suggesting sperm issues? BTW are you with city fertility?

Teesh I had a day 5 blast that was very disorganised and not good and they weren't happy to transfer but they said looked like it was hatching later in the day but they didn't recommend transferring that one and kept it overnight and I think it wasn't any better. 2 others on day 5 just didn't look like making into blasts and stopped growing at day 6 so didn't transfer those 2. The one I had transferred was not a great blastocyst but they said it wouldn't do me harm to transfer it so my specialist recommended we transfer this at day 6. I think it looked like a morula at day 5 so overnight grew some more so a slow one and go transferred at day 6.

Today though 7dys post transfer I have noted darkish clots and discharge of old blood started and tonight a chunk fell out with the crinone when I went to pass urine today so I'm not sure. My blood test is still another week away. Will have to talk to clinic tomorrow.
