I know a boy Taylor. He has issues at school, but one thing he has NEVER had trouble with is being teased about his name. It's a gorgeous name, don't second guess yourself.

I actually think its a nice strong boys name. And agree with mesmerised it became so over used for girls when they decided to make it a girls name on a twist of a boys name, just like cameron.
My surname is Taylor - I love it!

    Cameron Diaz

OP, I've always thought of Taylor as originally being a boy's name. There are lots of names that are for boys and girls that were orignally given to boys but then girls, like Charli.

I think keep his name It's a nice name for both boys and girls.

baby is only 5 months,?? just call him tyler if you prefer, you can change the name if you want to later. I like taylor, and tyler, and I have known boys and girls named taylor, various spellings. Marie.

I love it! What a cute name for a little boy

Stick to your first instinct, and it's true that kids will always find something to tease about!! Kids are so cruel (not looking forward to that stage!)
