I named my son Tyler, I'd never heard it before, (what rock was I living under) and now I feel much the same as you, there are Tylers Taylas Tyra every possible take on the name, so I wish I'd thought a bit more about it...

You can still change it... I can't change my sons, as he is almost 8 now...

Until 6 months ago, Taylor was always a boys name for my mind and I was quite surprised to hear my friend called her daughter Taylah - I was more worried that she would be thought of as a boy than a boy being thought of as a girl.

I think of it as a boys name.

I named my son Harper almost 5 years ago, and now it's quite popular for girls... But I still love it!

It's always been a boy's name, only the last decade or so it has commonly been used for girls. It's like Cameron. Don't stress! I much prefer it for a boy than a girl. It would have been on our list (after Taylor Hawkins from Foo Fighters ) but our surname ends in -er so sounds crap.

I always think of Jonathan Taylor Thomas (ahh Home Improvement). I like it for both boy and girl, although cant stand it spelt: Taylah (just a pet hate!).

I think its a gorgeous name for a little boy!

    Taylor Lautner is super hot.

    Taylor Hanson?

It's a great name! Don't regret it!! There are lots of unisex names around!

I know of a girl Tyler and a boy Tyler. Can't say I know of any Taylors as yet.
