    Default I feel like I've made a mistake :(

I am constantly thinking about this and it is getting me upset and very down

My son is 5 months old, I named him Taylor. I have now heard of a lot of girls that are called Taylor (or Taylah, Tayla or whatever spelling)

I still really love the name, but I do not want him going to school and being teased for bing the only boy Taylor and having a million girl Taylor's around him

I really don't know what to do, before he was born I was tossing up between Tyler and Taylor and now feel like I've made a horrible mistake and should have chose Tyler

Anyone have a son or know of any boys called Taylor?

Any suggestions on how I can stop feeling upset about this?

I don't know any boy Taylor's but Tyler was one of my favourite names. I think if kids want to be horrible they will find something regardless of name. If you feel this strongly about it...... change it.

I didn't think of Taylor being a girls name until you mentioned it.

I agree kids will tease others about anything but if you are concerned you could change it to Tyler

I know a girl Taylor - but I've always thought of it as a boy's name

DS has a boy in his classed named Taylor, although he is known by his nickname 'T.J.' I only found out it was Taylor when the school photos came out and I saw his name written. Dont worry, its an accepted unisex name

    Hey there

In my mind, Taylor is a boys name! it's a really lovely name as well, so great choice I think!

I still can't get used to boys being called Jesse or Kim, in my mind those are definitely girl names, but that's because I'm from England. my mate on the other hand only thinks of them as boys names

So I guess what I'm saying is, relax about it Taylor is a fab name! Everyone will have different opinions.... It's only your opinion that really counts.
