Default Blastocyst transfer: How man embryo's progressed?

    Hi all,

Has anyone had frozen day 3 grown to blastocyst? We lost so many in the thaw and growing phase that i'm really nervous about our appointment on Wednesday.

How did your eggs go ?

    Thanks,

We had 10 frosties that we thawed 7 survived. Of that we transferred 3 - one was at blasto and the others just off (they were day 2 when frozen due to holiday leave of fs). From memory we may have had anor 2 that were just behind and couldnt be refrozen We didn't get a bfp (bio) but the process does work. Good luck

    Hi Green Mum to be,

I'v had experience of a day 2 embryo being grown out to a blastocyst after being frozen. It made it! Hoping that your little one is a tough one. All the best.

Thanks Ladies, we saw the specialist and we didn't have a good results going from 8 thawed to one blasty. He's not going to try and grow the next two but put them in (if they thaw) day 3 instead.
