Default I just want to feel happy.

    I don't know if it's hormones.
The last week since I've moved to a new house I feel so down like there's nothing to life. Like nothing fun is around the corner. I'm 28 weeks and feel exhausted everyday as soon as I get up. I think about having my baby which is exciting but then think, I won't be able to handle looking after someone, I'm too tired, I can't do it. I don't know.

It's the damn hormones "hugs" we all feel and have those thoughts -you are not alone ;-) once the baby comes you will just find the energy & strength.

I can relate and i agree about it being hormones but even knowing it's hormones doesn't allways help me. They are such horrible things sometimes aren't they?

Yeah they are mean. I bought some iron tablets but haven't taken them yet but I'm going to start. Plus not having my license yet and now no longer working.....I just pray that I can be a happy mum with more energy to feed him at the least...I'm getting quite scared too now. I hate surprises. Sorry if I offend anyone by talking here as I haven't been diagnosed with anything..

The way through those darker days for me has been in taking action- literally. I started cleaning and stuff, probably sounds lame but i have loads to do and sometimes just concentrating on what needs to be done systematically helps.

Sometimes i get stuck in a loop of negative thinking and feeling anxious. I have learned to DO instead of stand still and wallow which i am prone to doing.

I know it's probably the last thing on earth you feel like doing but trust me if you can will yourself to get up and do anything productive at all you will feel some relief.

Please don't stress about it as it really does get better once your baby is born. I felt better even while in labour so it def was the hormones. It is amazing what you can do once they arrive - the great hormones kick in that make you want to do anything for your baby. I felt better in the days after DD was born that I had felt for ages.
