    I feel ya!

Been teething since 3 months here too, and still nothing. In fact about 2 months ago he got a back tooth..., 3 days later it had shifted back down!!

Yeah it sucks. But not much we can do unfortunately

Teething gel, panadol, rusks, frozen teething rings. It can't go on forever (although it feels like it at times)!

I think panadol once a day should be just fine.

Have you tried that breuers (sp?) teething formula? I haven't but I hear good things!

The amber necklace, well it does nothing!!!

Yep the brauers teething relief does not work all the time. The amber was working I swore by it but since yesterday it just stopped. Panadol is the only things that gives her a bit of relief (not for long) but the health nurse said its bad for their liver. My gp says its fine and the dose is so small for babies. Argh so hard!! Wish I could come up with something I'd be filthy rich right

Oh and bonjela does nothing are we the only ones geez it works for everyone else.

I agree, those Amber necklaces are a bit of a crock. My DD used to teeth for around 2 weeks before one popped up so i cant complain although i do remember many sleepless nights before she turned 1, leaning up against her toy box while she was swaddled in my arms as it was the only way to get her to sleep at all without crying. Her pain threshold was horrid so i pretty much got my hands on everything i could to see what worked and what didnt.
We used Panadol and Nurofen as a general pain relief. Nurofen during the late nights that she couldnt get back to sleep because of pain. And panadol for day sleeps on the bad days.
But what mainly worked for us was a homeopathic teething solution made up by our local dispensary. It has a natural relaxant in it which honestly did help when applied just before bed. I massaged her gums as firmly as she would let me and 9 times out of 10, i could put her to bed with minimal fuss. Even when she had her eye teeth and molars come through.
Massaging the gums is the key i think though. It helps the teeth break through the gum a little quicker with less pain.
...Well it worked for us anyway.
