He can be, but lately he isn't very. Last year was my 21st and I still haven't gotten the gift he promised me. This year I only got my gift 2 months later. I hate that on my birthday he says he is going to get me xyz. Why not just do it, instead of telling me? And why do I have to wait? LOL. I wouldn't care if he got me nothing, its better than getting me nothing and saying he is going to get me something.
Though, he does cook me breakfast, and often dinner too. A sleep in would be nice but I think that's too hard to ask for coz its never happened.

hmmm, my now husband was away racing side cars in speed way for my 21st.. when he got back he had got me NOTHING!! i was pregnant with dd2 and a little bit devastated lol.
he's a bit hit n miss, for christmas after dd2 was born he went to the trouble of taking plaster moulds of their hands and feet and framing them, he did the backing by himself(welding etc) and cut out plates for them to be engraved.. then framed it all. it looked fantastic he's also bought me a video camera for my bday & then a beautiful necklace on another. and more recently(last christmas) $500 coles myer card. then didn't do anything for my bday.. so i arranged my own mothers day gifts!! lol
i know he CAN think, he just chooses not to at times.
