I hope the nausea goes away for you very soon xx
I hope it goes away for you too. Bl**dy horrible isn't it? Are you going to try zofran?
I can't continue like this, my job and everything is at stake and this was an unplanned pregnancy. Not even in a stable relationship with the father. I have struggled raising my girl totally on my own for 8 years so I know I won't cope with two. I never thought I would consider termination and it is so heartbreaking but I can't see how I can make it work :-(

Oh, I feel for you! But never heard of Zofran not being safe!

Have used it in my previous 2 pregnancies and have a healthy 3 and 5 year old. Am on it again. 4mg every 24hrs seems to do the trick.

    Def get a 2nd opinion!

It's terrible! I really feel for you. I was told by my Ob to take "restavit" it's over the counter but you have to ask for it from the pharmacist. It helped with both nausea and vomiting... Def got me threw week 6 to now!! I also found going to the chiropractor helped and if I got to hot or to tired I got worse... Hope you find something that helps

Find a different Dr and get zofran. I was the same I couldn't leave the lounge mine was so bad and I put off asking for Zofran until 15 weeks when I couldn't take it anymore. Worked great. Didn't make me 100% but definitely better. My ms was predominantly nausea and yes it eased it. Very expensive though.

For what it's worth I had a 7 yr old girl and I had a newborn. My 7 yr old was a huge help she saved me seriously. She would help out with the baby so much she is so close to her baby brother. With such a big age gap it much easier with a newborn. The morning sickness will fade. I know it doesn't help now but it gets better. With your job do you have any annual leave? Maybe take a sicky and sleep all day while your girl is at school.
See another doctor about the zofran. Don't make a rush decision when you are sick and tired.
Try mineral water the one with gas. Try eating very small meals and cry as much as you want to. Don't worry about doing anything just take it one day at a time. Lots of DVD nights.
Hang in there. Hugs. Only a few more week of feeling like this.

Yes it is bl**dy horrible it's unbearable . I think I will talk to my gp about getting something because I seriously can't go on like this. What about you? I can only imagine how hard it would be without the babys dad for support I count down the hours till my husband is home and sometimes call him to come home early. Is there any chance of working things out with him? Would make life so much easier for you. Pp are right your daughter will be a massive help girls that age love babies and can and want to do alot to help so it most prob won't be as hard as it was with her. As for your job that's a hard one.... I personally couldn't work atm and quit work a few weeks ago. You do have a few more weeks to hope that ms goes away and there is a good chance it will as every pregnancy is different. Maybe get the nausea Meds and when you are feeling abit better you will find it easier to decide what you want to do.

Jess1889 why can't you take zofran after 15 weeks? Can you take it the days you are feeling the worst or do you have to take it every day to keep the levels up? Also dose anyone know if it has any side effects? I HATE taking anything during pregnancy but just can't deal with this nausea any more.

I started taking zofran at 11 weeks, still taking it now at nearly 22 weeks. I would not have managed without it - kept me semi-human!! I tried maxalon first but reacted to it to the point where I ended up in hospital...so zofran it is for me, the OBs at the hospital said it was fine and my doc's been happy to keep prescribing it it can work out cheaper if u get it thru the hospital pharmacy, also the 4mg and 8 mg tablets a basically the same price, so just get your doc to prescribe you the 8 snapping them in half for 4 mg!! Good luck and hope your ms goes soon!! (I know I'm hoping mine will!! - but at least zofran let's me function!!)

I spent weeks on the daybed in the lounge room when pregnant with DD2. Crying, spewing and sleeping. It was awful and nothing made it better!! I lost 6 kilos and spent weeks throwing crackers and bananas at my 16month old
Not to mention planning my wedding. Yikes.

For me the morning sickness was so awful the second time around that it had kinda put me off any more pregnancies.

Definately go see another doctor. And Definately speak to a GP or counsellor about how you feel about terminating this bub
