    Default Back to doctor?

My 9 month old DS had/has an upper respiratory infection. Doctor put him on antibiotics last Wednesday. He finished them yesterday. His nose is still snotty & he is putting his finger into his right ear now ( was putting it in his left). Otherwise he is still his happy, normal self. Should I take him back to the doctor or wait? This is the first time he has been sick so we have been extremely lucky so far. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi OP !

I would definitely take him back today if possible , Just incase he needs a repeat and hopefully he's putting he's finger in he's ear as a habit and not due to an ear infection ! My DS always needs a repeat when sick , one never seems to clear it completely and the times I've waited a few says it seems to have gotten worse .

They can also listen to he's chest again to ensure it's still upper respiratory and hasnt moved down further .

    All the best ! Xo
