    Default Tap and go payment

I am just wondering if anyone has had issues with these before?

I bought fuel yesterday morning, and they transaction hasn't shown up on my statement yet? I thought they normally showed up straight away but i dont remember...

I didnt bother getting a reciept, I dont want anyone to come after me for stealing a tank of fuel!

Ours will often immediately show in our "to be debited" area within the first 24hrs and then it just disappears!

It can take up to three weeks to be processed is what we were told by CBA depending on the merchant.

However we've had something not debited for over five weeks! Made it annoying as it kept showing up in our available funds as being available but really it wasn't and DP kept trying to figure out where the "extra" money came from haha. He's very anal about matching the budget each week. He's now banned me from using PayPass at certain stores as we know they just take forever!

Don't stress about not paying, it'll eventually go through.

It is a credit transaction, so it can take a long time to show up, but you have extra security. You should keep a note of what you spend using the credit function, as even though most banks will have the correct "available" amount showing, some times it isn't up to date and you can be caught short if you have forgotten something like a petrol payment of $80 in a weeks time. At times the CBA will mess up and I won't see that DH has spent money out of our budget until a few days later and I have to re-budget again.

So I just have to remember to leave 80 dollars in the account until they feel like taking it out? Thats poo. Dh has a memory like a fish, and the money in the account is fair game! Lol

I only ever use this for fuel, as the kids are in the car and i'm in a rush

Thanks ladies, fingers crossed it comes out soon
