Default What is happening with Facebook?

    Hi everyone!

    Wondering if you can help?

We've been reading through our survey responses and we've noticed a few comments about members being disappointed when their Bub Hub due date group or birth group move to Facebook.

Some members aren't on FB and feel abandoned and some don't want their privacy compromised by a move to FB.

Are you on both? Do you have BH friends on your facebook? Or do you like to keep some anonymity?

Why do some groups move to their chat to FB?

Did you know you can start your own private social group here for unmoderated, unsearchable chat?

Would love to hear your feedback!!

    Thanks!

we did it for convenience alot more ppl were going on FB rather then BH our DIG sort of dwindled off with ppl not having time to post on the boards etc where as FB was more readily accessible for alot of people and when they were logging on there they could quickly update without having to load up another page and FB was much easier to work with for uploading pics etc and being free to say anything and everything without having ppl being able to see it i did not know about the private social groups on here but as i said it is more about convenience and at the time the security and moderating of the page

I personally feel fb is easier to knowing people than on bh. Social groups also dont work on the apps either. I am in a few but rarely use them as always on my phone when using bh

I find FB & FB groups easier to use. I'm on my mobile 98% of the time so social groups I don't think work?

I have quite a few BH members on FB & find it is a much easier way to communicate with individuals, as well as like making plans for catch ups etc

I'm not terribly worried about anonymity. There's pretty much nothing I won't just share with people lol.

yeh i agree. BH is great for forum and chats but its totally differnt to FB. FB is more useful once you know someone and want to stay involved IYKWIM.

sorry, i don't eally know how BH bueinss can entice ppl back over - I just think you have to accept your used for different things maybe?

Yeah, my "due in" section has been really quiet as they've moved over to a fb group..
I prefer the anonymity of the forum though, and would prefer to keep my bubhub life and my fb life separate..

I prefer bubhub. I actually don't have Facebook, so I just use bh. I think people prefer that since they Re already on Facebook they can just catch up with their bh friends there too. I prefer bh's anonymity, and privacy.

I also prefer Bubhub, I was on a FB group for a really short time but found it too intrusive and I also found I didn't like the tone of some of the comments!

I prefer our Facebook group because it's just easier. Sharing photos is also easier with Facebook (for me at least).

For me, I always check my Facebook page before I check bh, so if someone from bh posts in our fb group it tends to get more replies than on bh.

I don't have anyone from BH on Facebook for security reasons (I don't have anyone on there who I don't know IRL) and also I prefer to keep anonymous.
