    Question Green Poo! (TMI)

My DH was changing my DS's nappy (2yrs 4m's old) and I hear. "WTF!!!" I come in, and low and behold his nappy is filled with green loose poo. From memory he has had the odd green poop or two once before.
He is acting perfectly normal, I am not concerned really, I am pretty sure it was the sugar cookie I gave him yesterday. (The whole top of it was covered in coloured icing, dark green being one of the more dominant colours)

BUT in the instance he continues to poop green, what would the most likely cause be?

    Hi,

I was coming to in to suggest any blue food colours and now reading your full post that's definitely what I'd say it is. My sister gave our DD2 a blue slush puppy last year, the next day she came running out from the toilet all excited to show us her 'special poo'... yep, it was green from the blue colour .

Good luck with the green nappies!

    Sam

I'm with Sam on the food colouring. We had a WTF poo example a few months ago after the kids had eaten those rainbow coloured sour straps. Have never seen anything like it. Lasted a few days and have never purchased them again
